Day 01 :

Namsai

It is a sub-divisional headquarters famous for several Buddhist Viharas in the Khampti settlement area locally called ‘Chong'. The Chong of Namsai and Manmao are major centres of Theravada sect in the State. Namsai Reserve Forest has both tropical and sub-tropical characteristics with dense green vegetation and a wide variety of flora and fauna. The natural beauty and biodiversity of Piyong Reserve forest is worth visiting.

Day 02 :

Chowkham

Is the nodal point for Manabahum and Tengapani Reserve Forest with floral and faunal diversity.

Wakro:-

Located within the Kamlang Reserve Forest and Kamlang Wildlife Sanctuary, it has dense forests and wide floral and faunal diversity. Animals like hollock gibbon, tiger,takin etc, are found here. The Glow Lake is a unique example of high altitude lake with breathtaking scenic beauty and is a perfect place for adventure tourism.

ParasuramKund:-

This holy kund is situated within the Kamlang Reserve Forest area and is surrounded by dense forest of Ruddhraksha trees which is considered sacred to Hindus. It is a sacred place where according to Kalika Purana, Srimat Bhagawata and the Mahabharata, sage Parasuram (one of Lord Vishnu's incarnations) took a dip in the waters of Lohit at Brahma Kund to cleanse his sin (he had killed his mother on the instruction of his father). Every year on Makar Sankranti (first day of the month Magh) thousands of pilgrims converge here to take a dip in the water to wash away their sins. A fair (mela) is held during this period.

HawaCamp:-

Is on the way to Tezu where one can enjoy the panoramic view of the magnificent Lohit valley as well as sunrise and sun set views.

Day 03 :

Tezu

The headquarters of Lohit district is located amidst beautiful landscape by the side of the Lohit River.

Hayuliang:-

This place is situated at the confluence of Lohit and Delai rivers and has a breathtaking landscape.

Day 04 :

Walong

At Walong one can enjoy the medicinal waters of the hot springs. There is a war memorial here built in memory of the officers and soldiers of the Indian army who laid down their lives fighting the Chinese army.

Dong:-

Dong Valley is the place where the first sunrise of the country can be witnessed. It is located on the tri-junction of India, China and Myanmar. The Lohit River that flows by offers great angling opportunities.
